Cruise the Caribbean for a Cause
AAA and Carnival Hosting Trip to Benefit The Tommy Fund
By Christina Prisco
Say goodbye to summer and
kick off the start of autumn
this September by joining AAA
Travel’s cruise for a cause on
the third annual Tommy Fund
Cruise.
One in every 330 children
in the United States develops
cancer before the age of 19.
The Tommy Fund is a family
organization at Yale New Haven
Hospital that works with children
with cancer to treat them and
help find a cure.
Connecticut Motor Club’s
travel manager, Chuck Gross,
said he’s hoping this event will
raise awareness of The Tommy
Fund to AAA’s members.
“The Tommy Fund is the main
charity we support,” said Mr.
Gross. “It’s a cause specific to children,
some terminal, some recovering. They
need our support.”
